I hope you enjoy these bite-sized heart reflections centered on nurturing relationships. We’re tapping God’s word to kindle and stoke flames of affection for the Lord Jesus that spread supernaturally by his Spirit to ignite heartfelt connection with others. You can access the daily heart reflection posts by month by clicking on the link(s) at the top of the page spanning from November 1, 2024 through April 3, 2025.
These heart reflections are centered on embracing God’s Word, singing the Psalms, and rummaging through and taking inventory of your attitude closet with the aim of being present in your relationship to God and being there for others.
The focused psalms & Bible verses cited are from https://www.fivedaybiblereading.com/. You can use this schedule that takes you more or less chronologically through the Bible in a year’s time.
Below is the first post of Heart Reflections.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” ~ Ephesians 6:12
Question: How can meekness help you navigate seeing the unseen world while also understanding those who only see what’s visible in the world?
Heart reflection: Both faith and relationships are gifts from God. Jesus is credited as the giver of both. There can be no taking pride in the faith you have over someone who doesn’t have faith. You instead ask, seek, and knock with tears for opportunities to serve and love those who presently only see what’s visible in the world.
“O how I long, yes, faint to see
The LORD’s own courts, His dwelling place!
My heart and flesh with joy draw nigh;
As to the living God I cry.” ~ Psalm 84:2
